Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q1: What is Bid Bridge?

Bid Bridge is an online platform that connects organizations (nonprofits, businesses, and government entities) seeking services with qualified consultants and firms ready to deliver results. Organizations can post RFPs or projects for free, and consultants can submit proposals to compete for opportunities that match their expertise.

Q2: Who can post on Bid Bridge?

Any organization — nonprofit, business, or public-sector entity — can post RFPs or project opportunities to find consultants, contractors, or firms.

How much does it cost to post an RFP or project?

Posting is completely free for organizations. A small service fee (10% of the awarded contract, minimum $250) is applied only when a consultant is selected and work begins.

Q4: How do I post an RFP or project?

You can create an account at www.BidBridge.org, complete the posting form, and upload relevant documents or descriptions. Once approved, your listing will be visible to registered consultants on the platform.

Q5: How do I post an RFP or project?

An RFP or Request for Proposal is a formal document outlining your organization’s specific needs, scope of work, timeline, and evaluation criteria. Consultants submit detailed proposals for consideration. This is best used when you need multiple competitive proposals, a structured process, or a higher-value engagement.

A Project is a less formal posting that describes a specific need or short-term assignment. Ideal for smaller, fast-turnaround, or one-time tasks. This is best used when you want quick results, flexibility, or to hire a consultant directly without a full proposal process.

Q6: Can I post both types of opportunities?

Yes! Many organizations post both. For example, you might post an RFP for strategic planning and smaller projects for follow-up tasks like branding, social media setup, or policy development.

Q7: How do consultants get started?

Consultants create a Bid Bridge profile, browse available RFPs and projects, and submit proposals directly through the platform.

Q9: Can consultants offer multiple services?
